CONGRATULATIONS to the Stagcoach drivers on the No 67 bus for their skill, patience an good humour in negotiating the hazards of Foxmoor Lane this week due to the closure of Cashes Green Road.
Most of this lane is very narrow and in places there is scarcely room for two cars to pass, let alone a bus and a lorry.
However, the drivers rose nobly to the occasion and with much shunting and squeezing delivered their appreciative passengers safely to the other end.
Having complete confidence in the drivers, after seeing their expertise on the estate, with its narrow roads and many parked vehicles, the passengers were even able to enjoy the exciting trips up and down Foxmoor Lane.
Many thanks to Stagecoach and their friendly and helpful drivers for our much used and enjoyed 67 bus, quite a social asset to the community.
