MANY, many thanks to the five or six people who came to my aid when my 89-year-old mum (Kitty Fitzgerald) fell on uneven ground outside Savers in Stroud on Wednesday, December 21.
They helped me to lift her up and Savers provided a chair inside the shop for her to rest, until she felt well enough to leave.
Fortunately, no broken bones – just shock and some bruising.
Thank you very much to everyone who stopped to assist and to Savers for their kindness.
There is plenty of much appreciated goodwill in Stroud!
