THE birds and trees and a breeze

A merry breeze has sprung up today

and tossed yesteryear’s beech leaves up and down

Lovely yellow and brown.

Life briefly again old aged tree

That looks continually at me

Aconites sweet yellowy flower, bright,

decorates your roots today around, magically

snowdrops blossom over the way

Spring is awaking after the cold, rainy, frosty weather

Come then spring again, and renew this overpopulated world,

I never thought at 85 years, dear Lord, again to see.

thankfully
