THE majority of people in Stroud want an Aldi, so why are these councillors dragging their heels in granting permission?
Cirencester, in my opinion, is a far better town than Stroud and yet has all the out of town shops, including Aldi and Lidl, but the town centre is always very busy.
I expect this redevelopment of Merrywalks will include yet another coffee shop.
If the Stroud district councillors read this, please give the people what they want not what they themselves want.
