THE three recent debates on badgers and bovine TB were unexpectedly but disappointingly a re-hash of the tangled web of politicised pseudoscientific “evidence”.

Progress in politics and science often happen by serendipitous happenstance, and this was the exact pivotal distilled essence where Defra re-discovered that cattle TB is an infectious disease, accidentally proving badger innocence, without apparently realising it, in their 2015 Consultation on post-movement cattle testing.
