TO THE two young female students who helped me tidy Folly Lane Playing Field today on May 25) you are a credit to your generation.

To the party goers who left the remnants of their smoking, drinking and (in one area) barbecuing, you should be ashamed of yourselves, each and every one of you.

While it was pleasing, to a small degree, to note that there was no evidence of alcohol consumption from those attending the party, the number of high-energy drinks cans left behind (those that give you wings) together with chocolate wrappers, tobacco pouches and other rubbish, all were unable to find their way to the bin not 20 paces away.

You know who you are, and you should hang your heads in shame.
