I WRITE this while watching the Manchester concert on TV.
It is moving to see these people coming together in love despite the horrors of the previous day.
As well as the victims of those attacks my thoughts turn to my good friend Yusif.
I have known Yusif since he was a 16-year-old apprentice where we worked.
I have seen him grow into an outstanding engineer, husband and proud father of three sons, two of which are qualified chemists.
Although a devout Moslem, Yusif has shown more Christianity than many church goers that I know.
I would no sooner blame Yusif or his religion for the attacks then my Irish neighbours for the IRA attacks.
Yusif will be appalled by these attacks and knowing him, organising help for the victims.
Do not let the hate of these terrorist infect us but unite us in love.
