REGULAR users of the Eastington to Frocester Road will no doubt, like me, have enjoyed the marvellous weeping willow betwixt the two villages.
Alas, this magnificent specimen has been subjected to a chainsaw massacre and is now a shadow of its former self.
Heartbreakingly, what remains appear moribund.
Metaphorically speaking: another nail in the environmental coffin.
