Reader's Letter: Correct name
IN THE Stroud News & Journal letter column a few months ago, I wrote about the railway bridge at Cashes Green Road, regarding the name sign on the bridge.
I rang Network Rail owners of the bridge to say there must be a mistake.
The name at the time was Painswick Road Overbridge, that referred to Painswick Road Overbridge Gloucester.
It has now been renamed correctly to Cainscross Overbridge – Cashes Green Road.
I was thanked by Network Rail for bringing to their attention this error.
