I HAVE seen many dogs around town without leads, some even without collars.
This seems to be a new fashion amongst recent Stroudies.
These people aren’t watching what their dogs are doing so they usually don’t clean up after them.
Also, several children and adults are wary of dogs and become quite frightened when they see a dog with no collar and off the lead.
I believe that this is illegal as well as selfish and is one of the recent trends that shouldn’t be allowed to continue.
So, I and others photograph these dogs and their owners (if we can get them in the shot) and will be passing the photos on to the SDC wardens at Ebley Mill.
