FOREST Green players Sam Russell and James Norwood are cutting a stylish dash on and off the pitch.
The duo are making the beautiful game even more beautiful following a visit to Cainscross-based beauty salon Coco Chic on a day off from the macho world of football.
Following in the footsteps of David Beckham Jonny Depp and even Prince Harry, the metrosexual pair took the opportunity to experience a facial, massage, manicure and wax.
Beauty therapist Wendy Kent got to grips on striker Norwood, who swapped the intensity of the training ground for a relaxing facial. Wendy implemented a micro-dermabrasion technique to remove dead skin cells to give 22-year-old James a smooth and clear appearance. Goalkeeper Russell made sure his safe hands were manicured to perfection as beautician Kaylee Hankins tidied up his nails -pushing his cuticles gently back.
The treatment concluded with a hand massage to moisturise the skin and relax the 30-year-old ahead of his next big game in the Blue Square Premier.
Coco Chic owner Leanne Townsend said: `’The guys really enjoyed the experience and left feeling relaxed.
“More and more guys are getting into caring about their skin and we are certainly seeing a greater influx of guys in the salon.”
Coco Chic are holding an open evening on Wednesday, November 21 from 6pm-9pm.
