DOUBLE Olympian Dan Robinson will run in the Dursley Dozen for the first time this Sunday.
The Stroud & District AC runner represented Great Britain in the marathons at the 2004 and 2008 Games in Athens and Beijing respectively and will line up alongside 540 runners for the multi-terrain race outside the Old Spot at 10.30am.
Organisers Dursley & District AC have stuck with the new course that proved a big success last year, with more off-road sections over the 12 miles, and that has led to a full house of competitors.
Organiser Graeme Hawkins said: "It will be really nice and muddy. It went down quite well last year so we’re sticking with that."
