SHORTWOOD United will take on Port Vale in front of the BT Sport cameras on Monday, November 11, in The FA Cup first round.
BT Sport has announced its two live FA Cup First Round fixtures as it begins to broadcast the world’s oldest domestic cup competition for the first time.
Shortwood, the lowest ranked team left in the competition and members of the Southern League Division One South and West, will host Port Vale of League One at the Meadowbank Ground in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.
Shortwood will be looking for another giant killing having beaten Conference Premier side – and until last season League Two outfit - Aldershot Town in the fourth qualifying round.
Coverage begins at 7.30pm on Monday November 11 on BT Sport 1.
