FOREST Green have moved indoors to train at brand new Brimscombe-based facility Inside Football.

The squad, including new striker Lee Hughes and defender Jerome Binnom-Williams were put through their paces by Ady Pennock and his coaching staff in readiness for Thursday’s BT Sport televised clash against Hereford United at the New Lawn.

Pennock said: “ With the weather at the moment, we are delighted to use the facility at Inside Football. The 3G surface is good and full credit to the people connected with this new venture.”

Scott Bartlett's Forest Green Academy have also trained at the new facility.

Arsenal legend Tony Adams launched Inside Football at Brimscombe Port on Friday.

More than 300 people attended the opening of the 3G football pitch, set up by football coaches Clive Eckersall and former Swindon Town and Forest Green striker Steve Cowe and local businessmen Colin Cole and Mike Stratford.
