FORMER SNJ photographer Mark Watkins swapped his camera for a rally car to take part in the Wyedean Rally.
Mark and driver Paul Bonner debuted in their newly built Andrews Removals Sponsored Citroën C2 Rally Car.
The pair had various teething problems throughout the morning, including a broken fuel pipe and no brakes on two stages, but set competitive top-four times in the 1600cc class.
They eventually retired on stage-four with drive shaft failure in Chepstow Park.
The pair will recommence battle in the BTRDA championship on next months Malcolm Wilson Rally in Cumbria.
