STRIKER Danny Wright stepped off the bench to snatch an 83rd minute goal to return Forest Green back to winning ways at struggling Dartford.

It looked as if Rovers were going to suffer another frustrating afternoon, but former Premiership star Lee Hughes fed fellow sub Wright, who fizzed in with his first touch of the game for his 8th goal of the season.

Earlier, as a mark of respect and remembrance for those who lost their lives as a result of the Hillsborough stadium disaster25 years ago, this Skrill Premier clash kicked-off  seven minutes later than originally scheduled.

The match at which the disaster took place, the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest on April 15, 1989, was ended six minutes after kick-off, at 3.06pm.

Premier League, Football League, and Football Conference, matches kicked-off at 3.07pm, with the minute before kick-off (3.06pm-3.07pm) having a period of silence observed at all stadiums.

Boss Ady Pennock made one change from the team, which shared a fiesty point in the 1-1 draw against Kidderminster on Tuesday.

Captain Anthony Barry was dropped to the bench with Al Bangura replacing the former Fleetwood man in the midfield engine room. Pennock handed the role of captain to former Bradford City defender LukeOliver.

Rovers started brightly. The energetic James Norwood forced Dartford keeper Alan Julian to save.Three minutes  Liverpool fan Yan Klukowski saw his fizzing strike parried away.

Rovers were resolute with Dale Bennett catching the eye at the back.

The game faded, but flickered into life for Dartford on 79 minutes.

Danny Harris evaded  Sam Russell, only for Eddie Oshodi to motor back and clear off the line.

It was left to Wright to snatch the points with seven minutes to go.
