LIVERPOOL-BASED striker Andy Mangan is back at Forest Green.
Mangan,27, whose three-year contract at the New Lawn was terminated in February after a lengthy suspension, is understood to have won his appeal against his dismissal and is now undergoing pre-season gym work at the New Lawn alongside senior sports therapist Tim Grigg.
He was never available for selection under boss Ady Pennock, who said: "I first met Andy at Luton Town in our game at the end of the season.
"I am talking to him this week and we will see what happens."
The 27-year-old rejoined the club last summer on a three-year contract but made only three starts and six substitute appearances.
His first spell at Forest Green came in 2008/09 saw him net 30 goals under Jim Harvey.
