FOREST Green Academy are in rude health after a busy week of pre-season action.
Scot Bartlett’s young side held Bristol Rovers Academy to a 3-3 draw at Hallen FC , today.
Jack Richardson bagged brace and former Swindon Town and Bristol City left-back Scott Bevan scored for the Nailsworth side.
Twenty-four hours earlier the Academy defeated Wessex League outfit Pewsey Vale 3-1 Richardson, Josh Allen and Lou McGrory guided Rovers to a comfortable victory.
A delighted Bartlet, said: “We had 19 players feature in the first team games at Slimbridge and Gloucester City on Tuesday night. The boys have had a busy but great week.”
