FOREST Green fans are in for a special treat next Thursday.

In a first for Rovers followers, after the squad have taken their traditional team photo, a special “fans photo” with take place in the main East Stand (1.30pm) with players and any supporters wearing FGR’s new home kit.

Fans can then purchase a copy of the photo as a memento of Forest Green Rovers 125th Anniversary season and the 2014-15 campaign.

Launched by new recruit David Pipe last month and already worn by Rovers players throughout preseason, the new Puma shirts feature a green and black hoop design and a commemorative badge on the back marking that anniversary.

A Fans' Forum will take place later that day (7pm), when fans will get the chance to ask questions of club hierarchy.

With the first game of the season set to be played at Southport two days later, manager Ady Pennock and chairman Dale Vince will be on the panel to answer questions about pre-season, the squad, the season ahead and the club in general.

Pennock said: "We held a forum when I first joined the club and I really enjoyed it. I hope as many fans as possible will come along."
