BRIMSCOMBE’S first ever foray into the FA Cup ended in a 2-1 home defeat to Windsor Town in the extra preliminary round.
Injury-hit Lilywhites started brightly enough with the speedy Jamie Walker going close.
However, Windsor nosed ahead when Adam Kirby headed passed Steve Sparrow in the 12th minute.

Mike Green’s side opened the second period in positive fashion but were stung when Dan Molloy made it 2-0.
Brimscombe were handed a lifeline with 20 minutes to go.
Karl Nash rammed in a spectacular volley passed a surprised Dennison.
Brimscombe peppered the Berkshire outfit but the visitors dug in to hold onto a narrow victory.
