VETERAN striker Lee Hughes bagged his 300th career goal to maintain Forest Green’s 100-per-cent start to the season against Alfreton Town today.
The evergreen 38-year-old one-time £5million Premiership star, who joined Rovers on an 18-month deal from Port Vale in January, discusses his delight at reaching goal number 300 but insists he has plenty more goals in the tank.
