They may have only begun their league campaign last weekend, but Forest Green Rovers Ladies' side are in cup action this Sunday as they host Crystal Palace Ladies at Wisloe Road (2pm).
An entertaining 6-2 win over Gosport Borough last Sunday helped the ladies side to the top of the new FA Women’s Premier League South West Division One table.
But this Sunday, in a home match once again, Crystal Palace who play in the equivalent South East Division One, are the visitors in the first stage of the FA Women's Premier League Cup.
Sophie Okey was the star of the show last weekend as her hat-trick helped Rovers to a successful opening day.
Further strikes from Rosie Bidder, Naomi Marshall and Hayley Kent completed the emphatic start to the campaign.
Palace meanwhile also picked up a win in their first game of the season last Sunday.
They defeated Denham United Ladies away from home to join Norwich City at the top of the South East Division One table.
Sunday’s game will be hosted at Rovers ladies outfit traditional base at Wisloe Road – the home of local side Slimbridge AFC. Kick-off is at 2pm.
