GLOUCESTERSHIRE have confirmed that seam bowler James Fuller will not play again this season and will have surgery on the foot injury that has stopped him from playing since the end of May.
However, young left-arm bowler Matt Taylor could return for the final home County Championship game against Leicestershire, starting at Bristol next Tuesday, after recovering from shin splints and being named in the second team to face Warwickshire at Downend this week.
Meanwhile, Gloucestershire pace bowler Graeme McCarter, 21, has been named in Ireland's squad to face Scotland in a three-match one-day series taking place next week.
