Billy Twelvetrees returns from England duty to skipper Gloucester Rugby from the fly half position as Harlequins come to Kingsholm in Round 7 of the Aviva Premiership on Friday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Twelvetrees will wear the number ten shirt with James Hook having been called up by Wales, and will partner Dan Robson at half back.

Following the LV= Cup weekends, the Gloucester starting line-up has a more familiar look to it as a number of regulars return after a couple of weeks off.

In addition to Hook, there are another six players away with international teams – Jonny May and Ben Morgan (England), Greig Laidlaw (Scotland) and Sione Kalamafoni, Aleki Lutui, and Sila Puafisi (Tonga).

However, Richard Hibbard, not required by Wales this weekend, returns to his club and will start amongst the replacements.

Gloucester Rugby: Rob Cook; Charlie Sharples, Billy Meakes, Mark Atkinson, Henry Purdy; Billy Twelvetrees (capt), Dan Robson; Nick Wood, Darren Dawidiuk, John Afoa; Tom Palmer, James Hudson; Tom Savage, Matt Kvesic, Ross Moriarty

Replacements: Richard Hibbard, James Gibbons, Yann Thomas, Elliott Stooke, Gareth Evans, Callum Braley, Aled Thomas, Dan Thomas
