FOREST Green midfielder Sam Wedgbury insists Saturday’s home clash against struggling Dartford is a “must win”.
A stand-out performer for Rovers this season, Wedgbury made his return as a substitute in Saturday’s goalless stalemate at Dover, and played for an hour in a behind closed doors 5-1 defeat against Mark Cooper’s Swindon on Monday, which also featured a 45 minute cameo from defender Aarran Racine.
Draw specialists Rovers have picked up 10 draws this season and will be looking to break a four-game drawing sequence.
Wedgbury said:“It’s a must win on Saturday and we can’t really afford to draw.
"We need to start turning the draws into wins at home, starting this weekend when we are at home against Dartford and hopefully we can get ourselves into the play-offs.”
