DAVID Pipe has tasted the Wembley buzz twice and now wants more.

The Forest Green captain is hoping his side can kick-start their run in the FA Trophy when they welcome Southern League minnows Didcot Town to the New Lawn on Saturday.

The tough-tackling Welshman led his former club Newport County to Wembley appearances in successive seasons and this culminated in lifting the Football Conference Play-Off trophy last May and saw the Rodney Parade outfit return to the Football League.

“I was lucky enough to play at Wembley twice and those memories will never go away,” said Pipe.

“Hopefully we can get a good run going and get the lads there again, and for the ones, who haven’t , make sure they experience one of the best things you can in football.”
