MALMESBURY School student Zoe Wassell was crowned Gloucestershire U17 cross country champion at Coleford on the same day that her mum Jane lifted the senior ladies' title.
The mother and daughter double is believed to be a first in the history of the county event.
Jane and Zoe live in Tetbury and both run for Stroud AC.
Zoe was following up her championship win in 2014, while Jane last lifted the senior ladies title five years ago.
Jane was the only contestant in her event to break the 30-minute barrier, posting a winning time of 29min 58sec which was more than 40 seconds clear of runner-up Jane Thomas from Cheltenham and County Harriers.
Over the shorter U17s course, Zoe was an even more emphatic winner, racing to a time of 19min 31sec which beat Bethan Moor of Gloucester AC by almost two minutes.
