SUPER-SUB Josh Klein-Davies stepped off the bench to score for a second successive time to grab a point at third-placed Didcot Town.
Klein- Davies struck a late goal in the 2-2 draw at Swindon Supermarine and the former Bristol Rovers striker was at it again for his new side.
The draw now leaves Shortwood in eighth place, five points adrift of fifth-placed Evesham United who sit in the final promotion play-off place.
Earlier, Didcot took the lead on 20 minutes when Elkins’ shot went under Tom King. However, Shortwood netted parity eight minutes later. Ross Langworthy thumped home a free ball after Joe White had seen his shot parried.
Didcot regained the lead on 70 minutes thanks to a Haysham strike.
Wood bagged a point with five minutes to go. Nick Humphrey’s near post corner was met by Klein – Davies who headed powerfully home.
