FOREST Green boss Ady Pennock wants the New Lawn “rocking” when play-off rivals Grimsby Town arrive at the New Lawn this afternoon, Saturday.
The Mariners are one place and four points better off in the Vanarama Conference standings.
Rovers, who have one four league matches since the turn of the year are the form horses and Pennock is urging fans to bring a friend and get behind his side.
Pennock said: “Grimsby will be a huge game, so I want them to bring a friend or two friends with them.
“I want the place to be rocking. Grimsby will bring good support and I want us to see if we can match them vocally, appealing for everything.”
Pennock is delighted with his side’s recent form, but feels the season is still in its infancy.
“It’s lovely to be in the play-offs going into February, and it’s a credit to everybody here, but there’s still a long way to go yet.”
