TWO months out from their World Cup tilt in Australia, England Women's Touch Rugby team arrived at Minchinhampton RFC for a training day.
Thirty-five representatives from the club united under the banner of 'Minch RFC Ruckers' to take on England – and soon found that the athleticism and tactical prowess of the national team could cut through any defence.
In a series of quick-fire games, Minch eventually caught on to the fact that rolling subs are an absolute necessity in this lung-bursting version of the game.
Minch regularly succeeded in attack through some impressive passing and handling skills, but unsurprisingly England triumphed overall.
England women's touch rugby player-coach Sammie Phillips, a university chum of MRFC's Alex Kaminski, tweeted: "Nice to play touch in the sun again! Three hurrahs for Minchinhampton RFC."
Special thanks to club stalwart Marc Pollard for his sponsorship of the event: http://www.mphs.co.uk.
