FOREST Green will provide free coaches for fans travelling to the remaining four away games of their play-off push.

Playing in their 125th anniversary year, there is an unprecedented buzz at the club as they look to continue an eleven match unbeaten run, and sit on the verge of securing a play-off spot for the first time in their history.

Total attendances at The New Lawn are up by 25% already this season as fans get behind the club’s play-off push in big numbers.

And the club is hoping for large travelling support as they roll out free coaches for the four remaining away games at Woking, Lincoln, Chester and Gateshead, in collaboration with the FGR Supporters Club. Many FGR fans already took advantage of free coach travel to Saturday’s fine win at Barnet, where 245 of the club’s supporters roared the team on to victory.

FGR boss Ady Pennock hailed the supporters’ impact at The Hive: “They didn’t stop singing and I wanted them to have something to cheer about. The result was absolutely fantastic for the fans.

“I think the result was fitting way to show our appreciation. The togetherness at the club is now exactly where I want it to be.”

Bookings are now being taken for FGR’s next big away trip to play-off chasing rivals Woking on Saturday, March 21 – with a booking deadline of 1pm on Friday, March 20.

Fans can book by calling reception at FGR during the week on 01453 834860.
