POLICE are hunting a sex fiend who indecently assaulted a woman walking her dog in Glasgow's West End.
The 49-year-old was on the cycle path near Dumbarton Road, Yoker, when she was approached by a man sometime between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday.
He tried to force the woman against a wall before indecently assaulting her.
The woman was uninjured but was left badly shaken by her terrifying ordeal.
Police today issued a description of the attacker and appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
The attacker was aged 30-40, of heavy build, with thinning hair.
The suspect was wearing a navy blue waterproof jacket, green cotton tracksuit trousers and brown leather boots.
Detective Constable Laura Crossan, of West End CID, said today: "I would appeal to anyone who can help identify this man to come forward.
"This was a very frightening experience for this woman.
"She is still very distressed and has been traumatised by the whole incident.
"The area where the incident happened is a popular thoroughfare for locals, dog walkers and joggers.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the vicinity, who may have seen a man who matches the description of the suspect, to come forward."
Anyone with information is asked to call City Centre Police on 0141 532 3000.
