JON Parkin's wonder goal from the centre circle in Forest Green's 3-1 win over play-off rivals Macclesfield is likely to live long in the memory.
The former Stoke City striker took his tally to 28 goals as he unleashed a shot from around 50-yards, which flew over the stranded Macclesfield goalkeeper at the New Lawn today.
It was an effort that bore comparison to the other long-range goals that have been scored in the Premier League, from Charlie Adam to David Beckham.
