FOREST Green will increase seating capacity at The New Lawn for what’s being dubbed as the biggest game in the club’s history against Dover Athletic on Saturday.

Having initially announced that the East Stand was sold out for this weekend’s game, the club has been working hard behind the scenes with Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Police, and are happy to announce more than 400 extra seats will be made available for Saturday's match against Dover.

Forest Green chairman Dale Vince said: “This is the biggest game in the club’s history. "We’re expecting a massive crowd and I would call on all FGR fans to come along to The New Lawn on Saturday and support the team.

“FGR are so close to the play-offs for the first time - it’s one more win and we’re in - and then we’re in with a real shot at League Two.

“It’s a fantastically exciting place to be for the club in its 125th anniversary year."

If Ady Pennock’s charges can match or better Macclesfield Town’s result at Torquay United, then their place in the top five will be confirmed.

Supporters can snap up  additional tickets on the web by buying on the club’s online shop by clicking here.

It’s also possible to visit reception at The New Lawn between 9am and 5pm during the week, while tickets are also available at Ecotricity’s Unicorn House on Russell Street, in Stroud.

Supporters are being encouraged to buy their tickets well in advance before this weekend’s game.

One of the biggest attendances of the season is expected on a match day that is also seeing the club celebrate Youth Development Day where all of the club’s youth teams will be in attendance.
