Shortwood United defender Luke Benneyworth hit nine fours and two sixes in his 145-ball knock before being bowled by Nick Weeks five shy of another century.

Opening partner Chris Job clubbed eight fours and two sixes from 130 balls in a rapid 88.

Alistair Bell, batting at three, blasted four sixes in a swashbuckling 42.

In reply, Woodmancote never really got going. Chris Dutton (2-34) and Will Golding (2-21) put the Cheltenham side behind the required rate.
