SAM Wedgbury hit the ground running as Forest Green returned to pre-season training, today.
The all-action midfielder won the infamous yo-yo intermittent endurance test at Brimscombe-based Inside Football facility.
Wedgbury beat burly defender Aarran Racine, who was followed by midfielders Marcus Kelly and Clovis Kamdjo.
A second group of players will be tested on Friday before the squad fly to Belfast on Sunday for a gruelling five-day boot camp.
