FANS in Gloucestershire are in for a treat this weekend as the University of Gloucestershire All Golds Rugby League side play host to a double - header of Kingstone Press League 1 games at Prince of Wales stadium in Cheltenham.

On Saturday, 25 July the University of Gloucestershire All Golds will face London Skolars at 2pm, immediately followed by Oxford RL v Barrow Raiders at 5pm.

Fans can enjoy two games for the price of one, with adult tickets available for £10. Under 16s are able to gain entry for £1 on the day.

Tickets will be available on the gate. Season ticket holders of the respective home clubs (All Golds and Oxford) get in free for both games.

All Golds club president Lionel Hurst is looking forward to the day.

He said: “We are delighted to play host to what will be a wonderful celebration of this great sport. It is also very pleasing to be able to assist our local rivals Oxford. Though the London club is a regular visitor to Regency Cheltenham it is a special honour to welcome Barrow for the first time in rugby league’s history.

"They are one of the fine old clubs of world rugby. The fact that the All Golds are able to host such an occasion is a clear sign of the developing infrastructure of our unique organisation.”
