FORMER New Zealand international Hamish Marshall is returning to the County Ground for the second year in a row as Swindon Cricket Club and the Rotary Club of Swindon host a star-studded charity Twenty20 fixture.

Marshall played in the same fixture last year and wanted to return this time around as part of his benefit year with county side Gloucestershire.

Marshall will lead one side and former Bradon Forest pupil Craig Miles the other, with a number of stars of county cricket also being lined-up to play in the match on Sunday, August 16 at 2.30pm.

The T20 is being held in aid of Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign, a charity Microsoft founder Bill Gates recently pledged to match every dollar donated with two of his own to. Entry will cost £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

There are still a limited number of tickets for the VIP lunch, which can be purchased by contacting Swindon CC or Deacons Jewellers in Old Town.
