MIKE TINDALL'S latest charity fund-raising effort will see him captain an England side against a Rest of the World XV in aid of Rugby For Heroes at the Twickenham Stoop on Friday, September 4.

Tindall will be joined by a host of rugby greats, celebrities and members of the armed forces at the inaugural Rugby Aid 2015 charity match.

Tindall, a former England captain, will play alongside some of his 2003 World Cup-winning team-mates: Paul Sackey, Phil Greening, Nick Kennedy, Andy Gomarsall, Tom May, Tom Voyce, Iain Balshaw, Josh Lewsey, Mark Cueto, Ugo Monye and Lee Mears.

The celebrities so far confirmed for the England team include McBusted and Strictly Come Dancing’s Harry Judd, JB Gill of JLS and Martin Offiah.

The Rest Of The World team captained by Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams will contain former overseas and international rugby legends Justin Marshall, Brad Shane Byrne, Waisale Serevi, AJ Venter, Serge Betsen, Bryan Redpath, Rory Lawson, Martyn Williams, Terry Fanolua, Daryl Gibson, Dafydd James, Lee Byrne and Thinus Delport.

The Rest Of The World team celebrities confirmed so far include TV presenter Gethin Jones, Talkshow Radio presenter Colin Murray and former World Championship gold medalist Jamie Baulch.

Former Gloucester legend Tindall is a patron of Rugby For Heroes, the charity which raises funds and awareness through the sport of rugby to support military personnel who are making the transition back from military service to civilian life.
