FOREST Green defender Darren Jones will miss the Vanarama Conference opener at Altrincham on Saturday.
Jones, who joined Rovers for a second spell from Newport County in the summer, has picked up a calf strain and is expected to be replaced by Charlie Clough or Dale Bennett.
Midfielder Rob Sincliar is set to play after recovering quickly from a groin strain.
