New Forest Green midfielder Darren Carter tweets his delight at playing return against Cheltenham Town
FORMER Premier League star Darren Carter has tweeted his delight after his first appearance for Forest Green.
Boss Ady Pennock handed a debut to the 31-year-old former Birmingham City and Cheltenham midfielder in Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with Cheltenham Town.
The free agent has agreed a deal until the end of the season.
Pennock said: "Darren has been with us for the last few weeks and he gives us that extra bit of quality I was looking for."
