GLOUCESTER have named a 30-man squad for the latest round of the West Country Challenge Cup against Bath Rugby on Saturday – kick off 5.45pm at the Recreation Ground.

It's the third game of the competition for both sides. Gloucester defeated Bath at the Memorial Stadium almost a fortnight ago having opened with a narrow loss at Exeter.

Bath, for their part, have sent two young teams to play away at Gloucester and Exeter and gone down to two heavy defeats.

Gloucester have selected a mixture of seasoned pros and up and coming talent, but perhaps the most significant name is that of Willi Heinz. The former Crusaders scrum-half is set for his first competitive action having recovered from injury.

Gloucester: Nick Wood, John Afoa, Yann Thomas, Nicky Thomas, Paddy McAllister, Paul Doran-Jones, Richard Hibbard, Tom Lindsay, Tom Savage, Elliott Stooke, Tom Hicks, Jacob Rowan, Dan Thomas, Gareth Evans, Matt Kvesic, Joe Batley, Lewis Ludlow, Rob Cook, Steve McColl, Steph Reynolds, Charlie Sharples, Henry Purdy, Olly Thorley, Bill Meakes, Mark Atkinson, Billy Twelvetrees (capt), Mat Protheroe, James Hook, Callum Braley, Willi Heinz.
