FOREST Green  manager Ady Pennock insists his side have been handed a tough away draw in the second-round of the Emirates FA Cup.

Rovers were the last ball plucked out of the bowl by former Spurs FA Cup winner Garth Crooks and will face a trip to the winners of Oxford United or Braintree Town, who fought out a  1-1 draw  on Sunday.

Michael Appleton's side now face a first-round replay at the Kassam Stadium next week – one of six games in 17 days for his side.

Pennock said: "It was an exciting draw, but I have to be honest  -  we've got a tough one. I will watch the replay next week, but  whoever we play it will be difficult.

" I know Michael Appleton really well and I think Oxford will go up this season. If we play them we would be the underdogs, but we will have a right good go and we all know the third-round is the incentive.

" Braintree is a difficult place to go, so we will just have to wait and see."

Forest Green winger Elliott Frear, who scored the dramatic winner at AFC Wimbledon attended the BBC Sport live draw at London-based Civil Service FC, with club secretary James Mooney.

Frear said: "Braintree will be a difficult place to go and Oxford are doing well in the League above, but we will go with confidence and hope to draw a Premier League club in the next round."
