FOREST Green fans can get their hands on the unique captain’s armband that will be worn by the player leading the team out at Saturday’s game against Dover.

The National League have linked up with the Royal British Legion to produce a one-off armband that will be worn by all 68 member clubs this weekend.

Supporters are being offered the chance to own that armband as part of a silent auction taking place in the Carol Embrey Suite.

And there’s also a great chance to bid for a match ball that has been signed by the entire first team squad too.

A box will be in position in the Carol Embrey Suite at The New Lawn this weekend for fans to bid for both of the items.

All you have to do is put your contact details on a slip of paper with a figure amounting to how much you wish to bid for either item.

The money raised from the silent auction will then be donated by the club to the RBL, as well as from a bucket collection that will be taking place at the game.

Before kick-off there will also be a two-minute silence to remember those who have lost their lives fighting for their country.

The signed match ball has been kindly donated by John Stayte Services.
