THE Dursley MXC stage third-round of the AMCA British Motocross Championship takes place at Frocester on Sunday, (11am-5.30pm).

The event is promoted in conjunction with the AMCA, who are the largest controlling organisation for off-road motorcycle sport in the UK.

This national series provides racing over seven rounds,with riders split into two main classes, MX1 for bikes with an engine size greater than 250cc, MX2 for bikes with an engine size smaller than 249cc.

Included in the programme is championship racing for both a two-stroke only and veterans group. Competitors will be converging on Frocester from all over Great Britain, and will feature Gloucestershire riders Adam Harris and Paul Neale.

As well as a full programme of motocross racing, refreshment and motocross related retailers will be on site.

The circuit, postcode GL10 3TP, will be signposted from junction 13 of the M5 and Hilltop Garage at Eastington on the A38.

Admission charges for the event are £7 adults with and free admission for pensioners and children. Camping is also available on-site for £5.
