YOUTH SPORT: Table tennis star Marcus Holba catches the eye
STROUD'S Marcus Holba continues to improve in the world of junior table tennis.
On Sunday the 13-year-old was awarded runner-up in the competitive U16s Cippenham Young Players Table Tennis event.
An enthralling final saw him loose narrowly 3-2 to a highly rated boy two years older.
Playing a total of nine matches to reach the final, Marcus beat another top 75 U15s national player.
He is now expected to enter the top 100 national U15s boys in the next couple of months.
