MINCH arrived in Kingswood, Bristol with high spirits, after starting their season with a win last week.

Minch started the brightest with the Richards’ brothers combining well to kick the game of with two tries showing excellent running lines and ball skills to put Minch 10-0 up after just a few minutes.

Kingswood steadily worked their way into the game and an excellent play inside the Minch 22 put the score line to 10-7 then with a kick for goal making it level at half-time.

Kingswood struck first in the second, but Minch soon rallied and now with their forwards on top scored a further two tries from number 8 Fraser Smith.

A kick at goal secured the 25-17 win and Minch’s second win of the season.

The fight was long and arduous however the win was well deserved by the Minch players, particular the forwards who all put in an impressive display.

With a much changed squad from the previous fixture Minch showed themselves to be quite the outfit this year with a great depth of talent.

Minch play rivals Painswick at home in two weeks, looking to make it three wins from three.
