HELLENIC PREMIER DIVISION
BRIMSCOMBE & THRUPP 1
THAME UNITED 5
Scott Boulton
BRIMSCOMBE fell to a fifth straight league defeat as Thame striker Lynton Goss grabbed four goals in a comprehensive victory.
The Oxfordshire side opened the score from the spot - Andy Gledhill sending Lewis Skyers the wrong way. Sloppy defending helped Thame with their second with the ball being squared across goal for Goss to make it two.
Brimscombe rallied with captain Chris Greenhough seeing his header cleared off of the line.
After the break Goss made sure the game was all but over with a spectacular goal from outside of the area, five minutes later and it was the man in form who scored the fourth and his hat-trick.
Brimscombe still pressed, but yet again Goss got away from the Lilywhites defence and made it five.
Jack Smith scored a consolation goal for the Lilywhites.
