FOREST GREEN are attempting to prise striker Ricky Miller away from Dover Athletic, the SNJ understands.

And according to a club source, Rovers will give hot-shot Miller something to think about in the form of a bid for a player who is out of contract at the end of the season.

The source said: “Boss Mark (Cooper) and chairman Dale (Vince) are keen to bring Ricky (Miller) to the club as they see his striking prowess as the key ingredient in their quest to win the league.”

Miller, 27, has started this season in typically devastating form, scoring 14 goals to top the National League scoring charts. He scored four goals in Dover’s 6-1 win last weekend and a hat-trick against Rovers last month.
