FGR fan Noah Dougherty's player ratings.

VERDICT: In a game which could well have swung on an early penalty miss, Rovers failed to create anything.

A few players stood out in terms of getting forward but defensively they were poor early on. A very average performance  and a two-week break could be a perfect tonic.

Sam Russell - 6 - Not much to do and not really blameable for any of the goals.

Dale Bennett - 6 - Got forward well and created a few chances.

Charlie Clough - 6 - A solid performance in parts but the team conceded three.

Ethan Pinnock - 7 - Not the best first half but a very good second. Showed good feet and a desire to get forward. My MOM.

Dan Wishart - 6 - Seemed conflicted between crossing and coming inside but played fairly well non the less.

Rob Sinclair - 6 - Only played 45 minutes but played fairly well.

Darren Carter - 6 - Despite his penalty miss he clawed the side back into the game.

Liam Noble - 7 - Good as ever, one of the main forward threats.

Drissa Traore - 6 - Often found himself the last man back towards the end so struggled to deal with the number of bodies.

Keanu Marsh-Brown - 5 - Dwelt on the ball in the first half, but improved in the second with quick first time crosses.

Christian Doidge - 5 - Didn't really get a sniff all game and often had to come to deep to get the ball.

Matt Tubbs (Sub) - 5 - Again, little to do and never found himself in the right place at the right time.

Fabien Robert (Sub) - 5 - Had a shot on target but little impact other than that.

Manny Monthe (Sub) - 7 - Although a late change, the debutant was one of the best forward outlets late on and of course got the assist.
